The service
FaceFilter is operated by FOX PARTON. FaceFilter is an adults-only general-connection directory with detailed self-described filters for professional collaboration, friendship, shared interests, activities and community connections. Dating-specific discovery templates and matching fields are not offered in the current service. Membership purchases access to tools, not a guaranteed match, response or sexual services.
Live membership and temporary staff verification
This is live membership: payments use real money unless checkout explicitly identifies a test or sandbox environment. After payment, submit private identity and address evidence for local OCR screening, then please wait for staff manual verification. Staff approval, a completed profile and current paid membership or an active invitation trial permit the actual directory and live direct messages, subject to account restrictions, moderation and sending limits. Payment alone and OCR alone cannot approve identity. Staff manual verification is temporarily required to evaluate the integrity of automated screening before we trust it. Greater than 99.9% accuracy is a future target, not an achieved result or guarantee. Manual review remains required until representative measured evidence supports that target and an explicit future decision is made about replacing it. Staff approval is document review, not independent issuer attestation, biometric holder/liveness verification, a background check or a safety guarantee. New purchases are offered only when the configured private staff-review service and payment provider are ready. Card subscriptions begin at payment and renew monthly until canceled, including while review or profile completion is pending. You can cancel through Billing & settings while waiting. Refund exceptions include inability to provide the service, billing errors and rights required by law.
Combined chapter trial
Chapter codes offer a two-week trial for both FaceFilter and Townspeak at the same time, for adults 19+. Use the same confirmed email in both apps. The shared 14-day clock begins only after both apps independently approve the same verified identity. One trial per person. Redeem within 30 days of issue; each code is locked to 15 total signups across both apps unless a human administrator explicitly unlocks it. When full: The locked chapter trial limit is 15 total signups. Contact us to make the trial official. Contact fox@facefilter.chat. FaceFilter includes 20 sent DMs per rolling 24 hours, 10 new accepted connections over the whole trial, no group sends and no paid overages; Townspeak Plus uses its own community and sending limits. No card, automatic renewal or charge; an existing paid commitment cannot be replaced. A code never waives account setup, independent review, profile or message safety checks. Combined access pauses if an approval is withdrawn or cannot be confirmed; the original end date is not extended. Codes are inactive until created by an administrator.
Eligibility and setup
You must be at least 18, legally able to agree and permitted to use the service where you live. Use accurate information and your own account. New accounts confirm their email and choose account security before membership; authenticator two-factor protection is recommended and optional for ordinary members. Live directory and direct-message access additionally require current paid membership or an active invitation trial, staff approval of the submitted identity, adult-age and required residence evidence, and a completed profile. Your full residential address and verification documents are private and are never shared with other people in the directory. Routine queue screens use address-free screening summaries. Designated identity-review staff may open the submitted evidence and required private declaration through short-lived, document-scoped access after password and two-factor confirmation, only for the identity decision and evaluation of automated screening. Evidence access is audited and appears in your private access history. Separately authorized emergency/legal access remains restricted to that purpose. Automated processing supports declared-detail consistency, eligibility/compliance checks and location relevance; it does not guarantee legal compliance or establish genuine identity. A chosen profile city may be public. Payment and OCR alone do not grant access. Do not impersonate others, share credentials or evade restrictions.
Subscriptions and usage
Standard costs $14.99 per paid calendar month. Pro costs $89.99 per paid calendar month and includes unlimited accepted connections. Card subscriptions renew automatically until canceled when available; crypto renews only when you pay a new monthly invoice. Available methods and any applicable taxes are disclosed before payment. Ordinary DM sending limits: Standard permits at most 1 DM per minute and 20 DMs per rolling 60 minutes and 200 ordinary DMs per rolling 24 hours. Pro permits at most 1 DM per 30 seconds and 120 DMs per rolling 60 minutes and 10,000 ordinary DMs per rolling 24 hours. Each recipient copy counts as one DM. Standard can own up to 3 groups and receives 3 free group-message tokens per rolling 24 hours, each covering up to 99 recipients without using the ordinary DM allowance. Pro can own up to 500 groups and has no free group-message tokens. Ownership limits do not count groups you join. Groups may include up to 100 people including the creator; request larger groups through the Safety Center support form. These limits apply to both membership tiers, card and crypto, new conversations and replies. Unlimited accepted connections does not mean unlimited sending speed. Free group tokens cover sending allowance only; accepted-connection usage and spending authorization still apply. Ordinary multi-recipient sends enter a paced queue. A queued copy is not delivered until its turn and required checks succeed; recipients see nothing from an undelivered copy. You can cancel remaining queued copies, but already delivered messages remain delivered. This is live membership: payments use real money unless checkout explicitly identifies a test or sandbox environment. Standard includes 100 accepted outgoing connections per paid monthly period. Standard card extras cost $0.10 each with spending authorization and your chosen cap; Standard crypto stops at 100 and has no paid extras. Pro includes unlimited accepted connections with no connection overage charges for either payment method. Ordinary DM sending limits: Standard permits at most 1 DM per minute and 20 DMs per rolling 60 minutes and 200 ordinary DMs per rolling 24 hours. Pro permits at most 1 DM per 30 seconds and 120 DMs per rolling 60 minutes and 10,000 ordinary DMs per rolling 24 hours. Each recipient copy counts as one DM. A queued copy is not delivered until its turn and required checks succeed; recipients see nothing from an undelivered copy. You can cancel remaining queued copies, but already delivered messages remain delivered. Additional anti-spam and service limits still apply. A sender-recipient pair counts once per period when the recipient first reveals a message; later messages between the pair do not count again that period. Groups count each distinct recipient who reveals a message. Hidden messages and duplicate acceptance do not count. Changing a form selection never changes a paid entitlement: card tier changes require ending the prior subscription and fresh checkout, while eligible crypto tier changes apply only after the next invoice settles and its paid period begins.
Card subscriptions require express recurring-billing consent before secure Stripe Checkout. Extra spending requires authorization. Cancel through Billing & settings even during verification. Your connection template determines standard profile fields and section order. Appearance fields are optional in every active connection template. Every search filter remains optional. Estimates, Unknown, Not applicable and private responses count where offered. Deliberate misinformation may lead to suspension after human review. Refund exceptions preserve applicable law, billing errors and inability to provide the service. Accrued authorized usage remains payable after cancellation.
Refunds and billing disputes
Membership and authorized usage charges are nonrefundable. We do not offer discretionary refunds for a change of mind, unused membership time or allowances, lack of a match or response, or choosing not to complete verification or your profile. Exceptions remain for duplicate, unauthorized or erroneous charges, inability to provide the purchased service, and refunds or other remedies required by applicable law. You may contact support about billing concerns, but doing so is voluntary and does not limit your right to contact your bank, payment provider, regulator or court, or replace or extend applicable deadlines. Submitting a refund request or dispute does not itself confirm a refund or cancel renewal. We do not impose a fee solely for raising a billing concern or exercising dispute rights in good faith.
Manual refund and dispute reconciliation
Billing concerns are reviewed manually through support and the original payment provider. Staff compare the original payment, invoice, subscription, applicable purchase terms and any existing refund or dispute credit with the provider's confirmed status before recording the outcome. A requested, pending or provisional credit is not a confirmed final refund; an identity-review decision is not a refund receipt. Card disputes follow the issuer's and payment provider's processes, and the issuing bank determines the dispute outcome. Existing refunds and credits are taken into account to prevent duplicate reimbursement. Any related referral-credit correction requires separate review under the referral terms; a pending dispute does not establish that a refund or credit reversal has occurred. Cancel renewal separately through Billing & settings or contact support if that control is unavailable. This revision applies prospectively and does not remove rights or promises applicable to earlier purchases.
Message visibility
Before any real message reaches a recipient, automatic and manually proposed labels must pass static word/phrase checks and a verified labeling decision. When enabled, a small catalog of exact phrases independently compared with an xAI Grok model can use its validated local labels. All other text requires a successful xAI Grok model classification. Recipient previews, tags and message content stay withheld while required checks are pending, unavailable or unsuccessful. This is a limited exact-phrase catalog, not a claim that a general local classifier has been trained or proven accurate. After successful checks, recipients first see tags and their source; the body stays hidden on the server until that individual message is revealed, including replies in existing conversations. Manual proposals can add topics but cannot remove required detected topics or lower required intimacy labels. Neither classification pass guarantees accurate or complete labels. Your topic preferences filter delivered tag previews; All tags shows other delivered messages. Members cannot block messages from other members. Leave a body hidden, hide a request or report it. Reading one message is not consent to future content, off-platform contact or any activity.
Your content
Use your own photos and information you have permission to share. You retain content rights and permit hosting/display/processing needed to operate the service. Contact details follow your sharing choices. Profile traits are self-reported; identity review does not verify every claim.
Moderation and assistance
Human reviewers may remove content or restrict abusive accounts, with appeals through support. OCR and optional AI may be inaccurate and cannot independently approve identity, authorize charges or impose penalties. Mediation is voluntary and has no additional fee.
Member interactions and personal decisions
Members are responsible for their own statements, consent and conduct. Self-described traits, topic labels and identity review are not background checks, guarantees of honesty, compatibility or safety, or consent to a meeting, sexual activity or future messages. Decide independently whether to communicate, share contact details or meet. Report harassment, exploitation, impersonation or threats through the Safety Center. This section does not excuse FaceFilter from its own legal duties.
Service availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, accurate user content, a particular result or error-free automated assistance. We do not exclude mandatory consumer warranties, our expressly stated payment/refund obligations or duties that cannot lawfully be excluded. A provider outage or review decision is not permission to continue charging for a service we cannot provide.
Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FaceFilter and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities or losses arising solely from another member’s independent conduct. For claims to which a contractual cap may lawfully apply, aggregate liability arising from this service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the fees you paid FaceFilter in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These exclusions and cap do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, legally required refunds, or any responsibility, remedy or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to limit. They do not prevent reports to regulators or law enforcement.
Responsibility for unlawful content
You must have the rights to material you upload and must not knowingly violate others’ rights or use the service unlawfully. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party claims directly caused by your knowing unlawful conduct or knowing infringement, including reasonable costs finally awarded by a court or included in a settlement you approve. This does not require you to cover our own misconduct, negligence or independent legal duties; we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to participate in the defense.
Copyright and removal requests
Report copyright infringement, impersonation, privacy violations or nonconsensual intimate imagery through the Safety Center or published support contact. Identify the affected work or content, its location, your authority and a contact for follow-up; do not submit intimate imagery or ID evidence through public support. Repeat infringers may lose access after review where appropriate. The separate intimate-image removal process is available without an account or payment.
Agreement, changes and rights
This published revision is version 2026-10-22.1. Additional liability limits apply prospectively after affirmative acceptance, not retroactively to earlier transactions or claims. Material price or policy changes will be communicated before taking effect, with fresh consent where required. These terms and identified policies govern the service; if a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent lawful. Informal resolution through support is voluntary and is not a prerequisite to courts, regulators or statutory remedies. Consumer, privacy, refund and cancellation rights remain available. There is no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, shortened statutory deadline or waiver of nonwaivable rights.
